Privacy Policy
Effective date: 15 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LiquidEdge ("LiquidEdge," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use liquidedge.app and the tools we provide on it (the "Service"). LiquidEdge is operated as a sole-proprietor project. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
When you create an account or sign in, we collect:
- Identity data — name, email address, and profile image, supplied directly by you or via a third-party sign-in provider (e.g., Google).
- Account data — your authentication identifiers and any preferences you set inside the Service.
- Communications — content of any messages you send us (e.g., support requests, feedback).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, tools opened, approximate time on page, referrer, and similar interaction events.
- Device data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and language.
- Cookies and similar technologies — required for authentication and basic site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
1.3 Information we do not collect
LiquidEdge does not connect to your crypto wallets, custody any funds, or collect private keys or seed phrases. The tools on this site are read-only modelling and calculation utilities — inputs you type into the simulators are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us unless you explicitly save or share them.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Authenticate you and secure your account;
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you;
- Improve the Service, including diagnosing bugs and analysing usage patterns;
- Send you transactional or product-related emails (you can opt out of non-essential email at any time);
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:
- Contract — to provide the Service you have signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and analyse the Service.
- Consent — for any optional marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
4. Third-party processors
We use a small number of trusted vendors to operate the Service. Each receives only the information needed for its function:
- Clerk — authentication, session management, and user identity. Clerk Privacy Policy.
- Google — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose "Continue with Google"). Google Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery. Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — backend data storage for any content you save inside the Service. Supabase Privacy Policy.
- GoDaddy — domain registrar for liquidedge.app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. International transfers
Our processors may store and process data in the United States and other jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by each processor.
6. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us (see section 10) — once deleted, your identity and usage data are removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our processors, and strict access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in section 10.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy or requests to exercise your rights can be sent to cryptostu2022@gmail.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
